Hi, my name is Leilani Martin, but I prefer to be called Lei.

I’m an engineer by profession and self-taught in personal finance, investing, and wealth building. I’m also the reigning Miss Universe Philippines Hawaii (2027). One of my goal is to share financial literacy to others to help them understand concepts such as savings, debt and investing for their future. As someone who also had student debt when I graduated, I can understand the burden and toll that debt can have on someone, especially when you’re planning to buy a home or invest for your future.

Over the years, I’ve developed a strong passion for understanding how money works—not just in theory, but in real life through experience and disciplined action.

Outside of engineering, I’ve spent a few years actively involved in real estate, including buying and selling homes. That hands-on experience has given me a practical understanding of property investing, market timing, and long-term wealth strategy.

I also maintain a strong stock portfolio and continue to build my investments with a long-term mindset focused on consistency, growth, and financial independence. On top of that, I’m a homeowner myself, which has given me firsthand insight into both the opportunities and responsibilities that come with building wealth through real assets.
