About Me
Hi, my name is Leilani Martin, but I prefer to be called Lei.
I’m an engineer by profession and self-taught in personal finance, investing, and wealth building. Over the years, I’ve developed a strong passion for understanding how money works—not just in theory, but in real life through experience and disciplined action.
Outside of engineering, I’ve spent a few years actively involved in real estate, including buying and selling homes. That hands-on experience has given me a practical understanding of property investing, market timing, and long-term wealth strategy.
I also maintain a strong stock portfolio and continue to build my investments with a long-term mindset focused on consistency, growth, and financial independence. On top of that, I’m a homeowner myself, which has given me firsthand insight into both the opportunities and responsibilities that come with building wealth through real assets.
This blog is a space where I share what I’ve learned—through studying, investing, and real-world experience. My goal is to break down financial topics in a way that’s simple, practical, and useful for anyone looking to build a stronger financial future.
Whether it’s investing, real estate, taxes, or long-term financial planning, I believe financial knowledge should be accessible, straightforward, and empowering.
Thanks for stopping by.
